NUTRITION PROGRAM
Good nutrition should be a staple in everyone’s daily diet. However, in these times of on the go meals and drive thru’s, it can be hard to get the necessary amount of daily nutrition requirements. One of the programs we are proud to provide at ONEgeneration is our meals program. At ONEgeneration dining centers “Healthy Food, Camaraderie, Fun and Service” is our goal. Our four centers, located throughout the West San Fernando Valley, not only offer a healthy lunch for mature adults (60+), Monday through Friday, but also the opportunity to participate in an array of stimulating activities with friends and peers from the community.
Our Homebound Meals program gives our homebound seniors the opportunity to receive one hot meal Monday through Friday and a prepared frozen meal for Saturday and Sunday. We are one of the few organizations who provide homebound meals 7 days a week.
Participation in this wonderful program is free, however a suggested donation of $2.00 is greatly appreciated. Feel free to contact individual centers for further details, as well as dates and times of special holiday parties, birthday celebrations, and center closures for holidays. Please see the dining centers page for further information.
